The Bookends of Celebrity Judaism

matisIn this month’s Rolling Stone, Matisyahu considers whether to accept Madonna’s invitation to her Passover seder:madonna

“I don’t know if I can go,” he says. “I’ll have to check it out with, like, multiple people, to make sure it’s kosher.”

Oh, to be a caterer at that party… please, SNL, take a break from the rap parodies and write a sketch!

Oh, and watch the “Youth” video here

  2. as much as you can glamorize that seder, our mini-poll almost unanimously decided no. there are many reasons to attend a seder.if you get a chance to hang with a celeb, save it for a secular day. not a holy day.

  3. This is the coolest sedar EVER. I think Esther has enough $$$ to bring in the kosher grub. The real question is can her kids say the Four Questions???
